Born
and raised in central Massachusetts, I've been fascinated and
passionate about the natural world since I was very young. In 2006 when
I was fourteen years old, I received my first ever DSLR setup and have
been addicted to photographing nature ever since. At first I was
interested in a variety of subjects such as wildflowers, insects, and
landscapes, but by 2011 I realized my passion was to focus on
photographing birds. I've been fortunate to have some of my bird photos
published a few times, including several publications from the American
Birding Association including Birding Magazine and the Field Guide to
Birds of Massachusetts. My photo interests continue to expand in recent
years with a much stronger desire to photograph mammals, which involves
much more time invested and far fewer results than bird photography.
Also in 2019, I purchased my first underwater photography setup which
has always been a dream of mine, and look forward to learning and
having a better understanding of this entirely new world of photography. |
